It was the weekend of July 4th of 2005, I was showering and realized that I could not feel my scrubby nor the temperature of the water on my legs.

In no pain I really didn't think a lot of it. I had had some sensations occurring in my body that I really wasn't sure of but again no big concern. Went to the doctor and was told I had a bladder infection (which was not confirmed) and high blood sugar. Both test came back negative. I ended up in the ER a week later and was told that I was on drugs. My doctor then sent me to a neurologist who put me through a slew of tests which were most unpleasent.

The results reflected that I needed carpul tunnel surgery and that all that was below the waist was all gynicalogical. I saw my gynecologist who examined me and ran some test and such and who said that I have the beginning syptoms of overian cancer. My mother flew out the following day, she began to contact Barrows in efforts to get me in to a neurologist. It would be around 3 months before the general neurologist could get me in. Barrows called about 2 days later and said that they had a cancelation with a MS neurologist. I took the appointment. When I first met with her she indicated that she did not think that the symptoms and test I had showed MS. Through a neck mri, spinal tap and a vep, we found that i in fact had a diagnosis of MS. I was fully diagnosised November 10, 2005.
